(For the next three Sundays, birthday gift from Mom.) Started off strong...there were nine of us, and the instructor. Seven women and two men...I think I'm the only disabled one, which is generally the case, and the only one from Arizona, which always is. I really do, at least, somewhat, aspire to be a "coastal elitist" at heart, but life has denied me, so far. Wonder what it means that my reading taste is most like the guy from Virginia.
If karlht has a neighbor named Paige, the world is amazingly small in ways it's probably not. that would be wild, though.

Trust me to try to *break* patterns, by choosing recreation with reading and homework...there is some sadness and disappointment mixed with this happiness and engagement, but it will be worth it if I could ever get some of my long-form stuff finished. (And it has been some time without good, quality, bookchat. I suppose I'll be doing things differently by not acting like the suck-up who has her work done before anyone even asks, though. Teenage!me was gonna EARN her way off that ice floe, goddamn it.
In stranger news, I dreamed I kissed Dr. Fauci last night. I admit to being...drawn to expertise, but I am a little surprised by that one. Part competency kink, part "I've lived here my whole life, and I'm like a disease," maybe. At least I know his hands are clean.

with some other Buffistas(online friends)...it was a little bit like "Family Feud" except it was teams of friends playing...it had Auto-Correct problems so my answers came out weird. We still had fun playing though.
