But I'm upset about what my neighborhood looks like(Even Red Lobster!) so this came to mind,probably, again, for an audience of one(he knows who he is.)
It's not quite finished yet, but, to the tune of "In My Life..."
There are places I'll remember,
All my life,
though some were drained.
Empty places, never better
Greedy bastards still remain.
In the suburbs, chain-store moments,
With family and friends,
I still can recall
But my place in my life feels so untrue.
