Stellar writing and directing outing from douchebag chronicler(and Ryan from The Office", but at times this is redundant) BJ Novak.
Lots of interesting stuff in this one as Novak, a wannabe journalistic It-Boy whose hook-ups generally wouldn't outlast a television cliffhanger, is found in the phone of a Texas transplant named Abi after she dies unexpectedly.
In a story, it seems like a bad sign that I'm turning fifty and finishing off my netflix queue at the exact same time. Seems like a nasty little hit of death symbolism...maybe I should write it?
Although I've never been much of a hand for symbolism...
