Not to Break a Confidence...

Or maybe I'm just a nasty little feedback skel--I have my moments. Which is why I have yet to fully quit Twitter, though it's a shadow of its former self.
He describes the act of rewriting, or really, making the attempt, as a "profound act of creation" which I find an inspiring thought, but also a humbling one(even if it blows my home-repair metaphors I use for non-writers away as well.)
It's humbling because there's been a lot of things I've written that I haven't made the effort with...not going to belabor that, because there are fewer quick ways to get words to dry up than that kind of overthinking, but thinking about it last night I did start to wonder what I might have missed picking "The Wedded Twist" over some of those other things. Maybe I'll get to one or two, though. Once I've learned I can finish without some crazy deadline.
I could get used to being profound.
