Partially because I really have healed, and partially? Because since his retirement, he acts like a crazy old hoarder, and therefore? Nobody I have to live up to or impress.(Maybe the Dad in my head was never any kind of real person. Which could also be irritating, if I ever took the time to think about it, which I probably shouldn't.
